Key Benefits

Sectional Garage Doors

Sectional Garage doors are probably what comes to your mind when you think of a garage door. They are made up of panel sections connected with hinges. Wheels at the edge of each panel roll inside a vertical track on each side of the door opening when you open and close the door. They are usually made from steel and are very low-maintenance. These garage doors can have customizable textures, colors, window inserts, and many other aesthetic additions. They also come in insulated and non-insulated models.

Rolling Service Doors

Rolling Service Doors (Also known as rolling shutters and rolling sheet doors) are more commercially popular than for your standard residence. Their design is perfect for areas with limited ceiling space. It’s usually made with a 2″-3″ steel slat sections that roll around a steel drum above the opening. It’s built to withstand heavy usage. Counter doors (like you would see on concession stands) are the same thing, except on a smaller scale to fit over counter space. High-Speed Metal Doors use the same concept, except the motor ramps up to allow for 80″ per second raising of the doors. Security Grilles use the same method as rolling service doors, however, it is usually chain-link styled metal instead of a solid sheet.

Fire Rated Garage Doors

Fire-rated garage doors temporarily prevent the spread of smoke and fire by cutting of a fire event quickly. They also automatically close when triggered allowing adequate time for egress from a building. Fire-rated garage operate like any other doors and are available with the same options, materials and finishes available on any overhead garage door.

WHAT IS A FIRE RATED GARAGE DOOR?

  • Commercially engineered door that has been rated and UL listed to not let fire breach through for up to 4 hours.
  • Triggered to close and prevent fire and smoke from spreading.
  • Designed to protect the means of egress.

Rooms and areas that have higher chances of fire events use fire-rated products. Improperly stored or combined combustible materials and solvents, many processes and manufacturing techniques or even accidents, poor craftsmanship or carelessness can lead to a fire event.

Overhead Sheet Doors

Overhead sheet doors are an excellent choice for businesses for two reasons; cost efficiency and reliability. These factors are the main things which make or break a choice, but there are other considerations. Besides their cost and reliability, Sheet doors also have a long lifespan, are completely recyclable, and are easy to install.

These are all very nice, but there are some cases when they are not the best choice. For example, if your building needs high insulation levels, needs fire-rated doors, or must operate in high winds, reconsider. Many of our other options will better suit your needs if this is the case.

Rolling Shutters

Rolling shutters mainly provide security from intruders. Beside being sturdy, they fit very closely to the window and are thus difficult to remove. In addition to their security features, rolling shutters also block up  to 50% of outside noise. This makes them attractive for both security and peace of mind.

Weather and heat protection

These kinds of shutters prevent 60% of the heat loss of a house in winter, and stop 70% of the outside heat from coming in. Due to this, you will notice a decrease in your utility bills. Rolling shutters also prevent damaging weather from ruining your windows. These shutters will block branches, hail, and other forms of debris as well.

Counter Doors

Counter doors form a wall of interlocked slats that coil up when not in use. They are usually made of aluminum, formed steel or stainless steel. They are commonly used in concession stands, cafeterias, and ticket booths. These counter doors provide protection when they close, take up minimal space, and operate easily. .

These doors contain smaller and more aesthetically pleasing parts. They use compact guides, slats, brackets and hoods, and offer a more streamlined look than traditional rolling doors.

Full doors with compact parts are also available in full height units upon request.

Any service opening would be an ideal place for these counter doors. Some examples include: healthcare offices, public spaces, arenas, stadiums, hospitality and education facilities, and cafeterias.

Security Grilles

Security grilles are sturdy doors with a primary use of guarding sectioned areas without taking up much space. They are the ones commonly seen obstructing entree points to stores in a mall, or covering other store windows at night. They slide to the side, or retract upward and out of sight. Security Grilles are a great solution for areas with large, open entree points which need to close off after hours. Because of their design and purpose, they are see through and allow air to flow between their links.

For privacy as well as protection, some of our other sliding doors may be better suited for your needs. The design is great for storage and cost, but not as much for obstruction of the inside of an establishment.
